admt CAI report

Explain in your own words, the FOUR key recommendations of the report.

housing for elderly: Singapore is to be an elderly freindly place so the government is building a wider range of housing for the elderly.

accessibility for the elderly: the elderly usually have a hard time reaching places in singapore so the government is building ramps and other things to make places more accessible.

caring for the elderly: the elderly need more care from the younger generations so the government is training more carers.


opportunities for seniors: now, seniors have a chance to do activities in the community like exercising. 


State ONE way that the CAI report is recommending to make our public housing more elderly-friendly


the Town Councils would make all HDB areas accessible for all.


State TWO ways on how we can ensure that the quality of elderly care here in Singapore is affordable


we could sell essentials to the elderly at a cheaper price and we could give them lower rents so that their reserved money will last longer.


After reading the CAI report, what do you are the THREE things that you can do, as an SST student, to help overcome these elderly challenges


I can help the elderly in simple tasks like buying food for them from the market, cleaning their houses for them if needed and also talk to them and make them feel more comfortable and confident in life feeling that their not alone.
